Comments (Dave B)

After leaving the village we followed the route No 8 which is promoted on the reverse
of the large sign on HOSM green. Steady progress was made across the old rail track out to the River Foulness.
We then walked parallel to the river grabbing a bit of shade when we could, with plenty of stops taking on plenty of fluids.
Lunch was at Seaton Ross and the walkers made good use of the picnic tables
in the children's play park also some straw bales which were near by.
After lunch after a steady walk back, saw us again crossing the old rail track and
working our way back to the carparking at the village hall .
The walk finished just after 1.30pm and was enjoyed by all.
