Hull Memory Walk.
June Gray and Barry Sedgwick joined over 3,000 fellow walkers to create a sea of blue on Sunday 30th September, 2018 for this year’s Dementia Memory Walk on the Humber Bridge
The 4 mile walk was made more enjoyable by the many enthusiastic volunteers who assisted with directions and ensured we all kept on the correct course. The weather was dry to help the day more enjoyable.
June and Barry completed the walk in 67 minutes back and over the Humber Bridge. The two of them have helped Hull Memory walk is expected to raise around £50,000. June and Barry raised in excess of £300 so far between them, most of the money being raised from sponsorship from fellow Market Weighton Walkers are Welcome.
Both June and Barry would like to thank everyone of you who helped raise this total which helps dementia research for the future.
